Christopher Bertorelli is a wealth advisor in the San Diego office of Octavia Wealth Advisors. He specializes in helping clients manage their finances, make informed decisions, achieve their goals, and protect what they’ve earned. Chris takes pride in serving as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships through clear and consistent communication. He is passionate about providing comprehensive guidance and personalized strategies to individuals, families, and businesses. His main objective every day is to use his knowledge and experience to help his clients and colleagues succeed.
Before joining Octavia in 2023, Chris spent 16 years with John Hancock Investments, where he was a senior regional vice president. Prior to that, he was a regional vice president at MFS Investment Management.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics at Salem State University. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®).
On the personal side
Chris and his wife moved from Massachusetts to Coronado, California, in 1998. They are longtime members of the Coronado Cays Yacht Club, where Chris was named 2018 Yachtsman of the Year, and the Catalina Island Yacht Club. They enjoy traveling, cooking, biking, skiing, and spending time with friends; and they love being out on the water, fishing, boating, sailing, and diving.
