Don Hughett is a partner and wealth advisor at Octavia Wealth Advisors. He works closely with both individual and corporate clients on investment reviews and retirement planning. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), Don also serves as a fiduciary for corporate retirement plans, operating solely in the best interest of each plan and its participants. Don is dedicated to forming warm, productive relationships that create strong connections. He applies this skill externally as well as internally. He is as accomplished at forming client partnerships as he is at engaging with support staff to increase their ability to deliver exceptional client service.
Before joining Octavia, Don spent 20 years as a financial professional and partner at Midwest Financial Partners. Prior to that, he spent 17 years as a senior manager with Makino, a Japanese machine tool manufacturer.
Don holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Cincinnati. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®).
On the personal side
Don is married to his high school sweetheart and has two adult daughters, one of whom is an advisor at Octavia. His claim to fame is that at age 40, he ran the New York City Marathon! (Just don’t ask him what time he clocked.)
