Jacob Flaspohler is a client service associate at Octavia Wealth Advisors. He is responsible for attending to essential background tasks such as account openings and compliance paperwork. Jacob believes that all the behind-the-scenes aspects of the financial planning process should stay behind the scenes, so that each client’s financial well-being is what stays in focus. He enjoys the excitement of working at a firm that offers so many services and such varied expertise.
Before joining Octavia in 2023, Jacob served as an operations specialist for financial advisors at Giesting Financial. He also worked at Fifth Third Bank as a personal banker.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Counseling and Planning from Purdue University. He attended one year of law school at Dayton University.
On the personal side
An Indiana native, Jacob is engaged to be married in December 2023. He loves sports, and is a huge Notre Dame football fan. In the past, he has coached boys’ basketball and hopes to do that again. Every summer, Jacob and his friends run a German stein-holding contest at Freudenfest Family Fun Day in Oldenburg, Indiana.
