He’s an expert on issues that affect international high net worth and ultra high net worth clients, medical professionals, as well as executives in mid-to-large domestic companies. In an ever-changing industry, Luis takes pride in constantly improving the future for his clients.
Prior to forming Octavia, Luis spent 31 years as lead partner at Midwest Financial Partners. A strong believer in attaining higher skill levels to better serve clients, Luis also holds the following professional credentials: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Charter Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), Accredited Divorce Financial Analyst™ (ADFA), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), and Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®).
Originally from Peru, Luis earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Indiana’s Ball State University. He attended Ohio State University where he played tennis for their highly ranked varsity team for 3 years. He also attended Wright State University for post-graduate course work.
On the personal side
Luis is the proud father of three children, and he and his wife enjoy an active lifestyle in Florida. A self-described student of the kitchen, he loves to cook, research ingredients, and create mouth-watering new recipes. His hobbies also include reading and traveling around the world.
