Marcia Lusnak is the human resources director at Octavia Wealth Advisors. She provides the Octavia team with support in navigating all the benefits and resources available to help them succeed. Marcia is on a mission to use her knowledge and experience to help create positive outcomes for everyone at Octavia. Her strong sense of responsibility and commitment inspires her to do everything she can to foster a beneficial work environment so our firm can thrive. Marcia relishes being a part of a successful organization that recognizes the value of people and their contributions.
Before joining the Octavia team in 2022, Marcia spent more than 20 years developing her skills in human resources with Turner Construction, Lend Lease, Inc., and Fluor Inc.
Marcia earned a business management degree from Bryant & Stratton College in Syracuse, NY. She also earned additional professional certifications including Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SRM-CP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR®), an Employee Relations Certificate from Cornell University and is a member of SHRM, GCHRA, HR Partners International and the International Society of Female Professionals.
On the personal side
Marcia has been married to her high school sweetheart for 34 years. They have two adult children and a Goldendoodle. She loves to travel, cook, and is an avid football fan. When she’s not working, Marcia enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
