Nick Wheeler is director of investment operations at Octavia Wealth Advisors. He oversees all back office processes to ensure that the firm operates at peak efficiency while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance. Nick derives his greatest satisfaction from being part of a disciplined process that quite literally helps to make peoples’ dreams come true. To support positive client outcomes, he makes sure the entire staff is well prepared to provide clients with exceptional service that exceeds expectations.
Nick joined Octavia in 2020 with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, he worked at Fifth Third Securities, serving as operations manager for more than six years. Nick also headed up projects that included introducing more efficient and cost effective internal platforms as well as creating paperless work processes.
Nick graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and business management.
On the personal side
Nick is married and has four children. He is a lifelong and passionate Cincinnati sports fan. Another long time passion of his is the stock market. That love stems from his 5th grade class project where he created, monitored, and managed a mock stock portfolio. He was instantly captivated at the ability to own a piece of the companies he admired. He was so captivated that he asked for stock for Christmas that year and thus received his first shares at the tender age of 10. That love has since led him to his career today in the financial industry.
